Kamrul Hussin is a multi-instrumentalist from Kelantan, Malaysia.

He is the founder of Geng Wak Long Kelantan Malaysia and also a senior lecturer and Director of Traditional Studies at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam, Selangor.

He is a renowned Master of traditional Malay musical instruments such as the Kelantanese drum (Gendang) , Rebab and Serunai.

He is also a well-versed Dalang (Puppet master) in Wayang Kulit Kelantan (Shadow Puppet Play) with expert musical versatility in all of the traditional Kelantan arts such as Wayang Kulit Kelantan, Mak Yong, Rebana Ubi, Silat, Main Puteri, Tarik Selampit, Kompang, Gamelan, Tak Lempong among others.

In 2006, he was the Musical Director for Wayang Kulit & Malaysian Music at the United Nations, NEW YORK.

Today he is very much involved in contemporary theatre and dance performances in Malaysia.
